Lawrence Reviewed is a collaborative public digital humanities project as part of the KU Reads program. This project, co-sponsored by the KU Libraries, Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities (IDRH), and the Hall Center for the Humanities, will facilitate campus and community conversations around John Green’s book The Anthropocene Reviewed.

About KU Reads: A Common Book Experience

The KU Reads program selects one Common Book each academic year to inspire campus-wide discussion, intellectual engagement, and promote community across KU. This program provides a unique opportunity to support the student experience by fostering community through engaging programming and supporting intellectual engagement through shared conversations about topics of significance in Kansas and beyond.

Program Goals:

Build community among students, faculty, and staff

Encourage intellectual engagement through reading, discussion, curriculum, and events

Create a shared conversation about topics and issues of significance in today’s world
